Known as the King of spices , Black Pepper has a pungent, biting aroma and taste. Black pepper is obtained from the small dried berry of the Piper nigrum. The berries are picked while still green, allowed to ferment and are then sun-dried until they shrivel and turn a brownish-black colour.
Connu comme le roi des épices, poivre noir a un piquant, mordant l'arôme et le goût. Le poivre noir est obtenu à partir de la petite baie séchée du Piper nigrum. Les baies sont cueillies encore vertes, laisse fermenter et sont ensuite séchées au soleil jusqu'à ce qu'ils se ratatiner et prendre une couleur brun-noir.
